Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary in Bethlehem. His birth fulfilled ancient prophecies, marking the incarnation of the Divine Word for the salvation of humanity. He lived a life of teaching, healing, and ultimately sacrificed himself on the cross.
His example teaches us profound humility through His birth in poverty, boundless love through His sacrifice, and the promise of eternal life through His resurrection. He calls us to love God and neighbor, to forgive, and to seek justice and peace in the world.
Lord Jesus, on this day of Your birth, fill our hearts with joy, peace, and love. Help us to imitate Your humility and generosity, and to share Your light with all we encounter.
