Saint Cleophas was one of the two disciples to whom Jesus appeared on the road to Emmaus after His resurrection. He is traditionally identified as the brother of Saint Joseph and the father of Saint James the Less. Cleophas was martyred for his faith, likely in the same house where Jesus had broken bread with him.
